Standing Committees

The Standing Committees of a Grama Panchayat are sub-committees formed to ensure the efficient functioning of the Panchayat. Their primary objective is to provide specialized attention and accountability in various areas of Panchayat administration and development.

The Panchayat has committees dealing with Finance, Development, Health & Education, and Welfare. Each committee is responsible for planning activities in its respective area, monitoring implementation, and providing necessary recommendations to the Panchayat.

The Standing Committees consist of Panchayat members, and each committee has a Chairperson. The Gram Panchayat President is an Ex-Officio member of all the Standing Committees.
