1. Governing Body Consisting of Elected Representatives
🔹 Gram Panchayat President
The President is the chief administrative authority of the Panchayat. The President leads the development activities and administrative functions of the Panchayat.
🔹 Vice President
The Vice President provides full support to the President in administrative activities. In the absence of the President, the Vice President performs the administrative responsibilities of the Panchayat.
🔹 Gram Panchayat Committee
This is the main governing body consisting of elected representatives. The Committee manages the overall development and administrative affairs of the Panchayat.
👥 Standing Committees
These are special committees responsible for various activities such as development, finance, health, and education within the Panchayat:

2. Official Administrative Staff
These are the employees who work to legally implement the decisions of the governing body and ensure the smooth functioning of the day-to-day office activities.
💼 Panchayat Secretary
The Secretary is the principal administrative officer of the Panchayat. The Secretary coordinates office activities, file procedures, and official administrative functions.
💼 Assistant Secretary
The Assistant Secretary provides support for the administrative and office activities of the Panchayat. In addition, the Assistant Secretary serves as the Member Secretary of Kudumbashree and coordinates various welfare schemes. The Assistant Secretary also undertakes the implementation responsibilities of Scheduled Caste Development (SC Development) projects.
💼 Junior Superintendent
The Junior Superintendent supervises the day-to-day office activities of the Panchayat. The officer coordinates file procedures and the functioning of various office sections and provides supervision and control over the activities of employees.
💼 Accountant
The Accountant manages the financial transactions and accounts of the Panchayat. The Accountant prepares and maintains accurate income and expenditure accounts and also handles the organization of budgets, taxes, and financial records.
💼 Senior Clerk
The Senior Clerk supervises office records and administrative procedures. The Senior Clerk coordinates the functioning of various office sections and manages the examination and processing of important files.
💼 Clerk
The Clerk handles files and records of the Panchayat. The Clerk manages tax collection, applications from the public, and office registers. The Clerk also carries out ward-level responsibilities and service-related activities.
💼 Office Attendant
The Office Attendant provides necessary assistance for the day-to-day functioning of the Panchayat office. Duties include transferring files and records, maintaining office arrangements, and performing general support activities.
🌾 1. Gram Sabha (Foundation of the Panchayat)
The Gram Sabha is the official general assembly of the people of the Panchayat. It is the forum where development projects, public needs, and welfare activities are directly discussed and recommendations are made.
It is the grassroots-level collective institution of democracy.
